Nellie Ann Brock

Nellie Ann Brock, 67, was called home to her Heavenly Father on Thursday, July 28, 2022, at Hospice Home at High Point after a tough battle of health conditions for many years. She was born on July 28, 1955, in Coney Island, New York, to Theophia Broadus and Blain Griffin.

Nellie was family oriented; she was a caring, loving, honest woman and would help anyone she could, she was loved by many, she loved dogs, purses and plants, she had growing hands. Wherever Nellie went, she never met a stranger, she had many friends that enjoyed her company at any time. She was also known as "Granny/Grapple Granny to her family. Nellie was blessed and her memories will be shared by her loved ones.

Nellie was preceded in death by her parents, a niece, Rebecca Gadson and a great niece, Niekia Williams

Those left to cherish fond and loving memories are her daughter; Theophia Brock, two grandsons that she reared as her own; De'andre and Marquis Brock, Granddaughter; Dontaesha  Anderson, Quadea Bishop and Shaniya Little, Eleven great grandchildren; Da'niya, A'nyla, Harmony, Aaden, Messiah, Juhanna, Ace, Sienna, Indiah, Melody and Uhyunnis, nieces; Hilda Brock, Toni Pelote, Nephew; Sammy Salter, great nieces; Nykeira Quick, Charell Williams, Kim Agee, Lagena Mosley and Tawanna Thompson; Great nephew; Jemal Gadson, Floyd Cody and Tony Cody. Nellie loved all of her family with her heart and soul, she will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
