Alisa Laverne Black Pina, age 53, of High Point, NC, departed this earthly life unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. She was born in High Point, NC on May 8, 1968, to James Henry Black and Addie Pearl Williams Black. She attended Southwest Guilford High School and later attended Guilford Technical Community College, after which she became a Certified Nursing Assistant. Some of her favorite things were shopping, traveling, spoiling her grandchildren, and sharing time with family and friends. You were not able to be around her and not laugh. People will always remember her distinct laugh; some said it was infectious. She enjoyed cooking, and would often say, “Y’all coming over to eat?” People loved her baked macaroni and cheese, macaroni salad, and fried tacos. She loved playing spades online and loved making “daily runs” with her husband and row dog, Glow. Lisa had a heart of gold, always giving and smiling through everything. You wouldn’t be able to tell if she was down or going through something. She married the love of her life and her best friend, Richard Pina, on August 17. They were inseparable. Wherever you saw Lisa you would see Richard. Her favorite job was being a stay-at-home wife, as Richard would say. She adored her dogs and treated them like kids. Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Mr. James Henry Black, and one sister, Angelia Black. She leaves to cherish precious memories to her husband, Richard Pina; her four sons, Brandon Goins, Richard Monroe, Dominique Pina, and Ricardo Pina; three daughters, Veronica McNair, Ric-Chara Pina, and RicQuandra Campbell; her mother, Addie Williams Black; one brother, Todd Black; nine grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
