Wittie "Jackie" Wright Jr.

Mr. Wittie Wright, age 76 affectionately known as “Jackie,” departed his earthly life on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at home.

Jackie was born on May 4, 1944 in Dillon, SC to the late Wittie Wright Sr. and Hattie Mae Jones Wright.  He later moved to New York.

He played in a musical band throughout his life.  Jackie was a lovable and humorous person. There was never a dull moment when he was around.  He loved his family, especially his caretaker, LeKeisha Bethea.

Jackie was preceded in death by his parents; several aunts, Caroline Bethea, Margaret Bethea, Janie Jones; uncles, Marvin Wright, George Wright; a special cousin, Lottie Mae Bethea.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his cousin and caretaker, LeKeisha Bethea, whom he considered his daughter  and a special love for Stephanie Johnson both of the home and a host of other relatives and friends.
