William McCoy Jr.

William McCoy Jr., 82, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at Adams Farm Living. He was born in Randolph County, NC, on July 13, 1940, to William McCoy Sr., and Flossie Kearnes McCoy. He attended Randolph County public schools.

He was preceded in death by his parents.  He met and married Martha Brown McCoy, a marriage of 55 years, who also preceded him death. William and Martha had a strong, loving and devoted family. He was a member of St. Mary's United Methodist Church for many years where he was a part of different auxiliaries. He was also preceded in death by two grandsons, Jeremy Garrison and Theatmus Rice.

Memories will forever be cherished by two sons, William Eugene McCoy and Marcus Stephan McCoy (Zaire), a daughter, Yvette Ratliff9 (Larnzo), seven beautiful grandchildren, Cumeshia, Meyakka (Jamoderick), Jonathan, Ebonee, Brianna, Olivia and Isabella, six beautiful great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends.
