Warnella "Buck" Whitley

MR. WARNELLA “BUCK” WHITLEY, age 66, of High Point, NC, peacefully entered his heavenly home on September 12, 2026.

He was born November 23, 1959, to the late Samuel Whitley Sr. and the late Eula Gray Sanders Whitley. 

Buck was an entrepreneur and a pillar in his community. He will be remembered for his love of music, animals, and the people whose lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by his son, Austin “BJ” Whitley; one sister, and three brothers.

He is survived by his siblings, Molly Whitley, Samuel Whitley, Arlisa Whitley, all of High Point, NC and Willie Ray Sanders of Baltimore, MD; his grandson, Asir; step-brother, Darrell Jackson of High Point, NC; his honorary daughters in love, Tabitha, Sapperia and Destiny; his honorary son in love, Frank Jr.; three nieces, Makaila, October, and Zynichyona; his best friends, Mike Wall and Barbara Wall; special friends, Christina Williams and Charlotte Bethea.
