Theodore Shealey

Theodore Shealey, 79, departed this life on Monday, January 13, 2025. He had been a resident of the Meridian Center since 2017. He had been in declining health for the last two years.

He was born in Brooklyn, New York on November 12, 1945, to Joseph Shealey and Meriam McCornell Shealey. Theodore was the fifth of five siblings, Joseph Shealey, Alfred Shealey, William H. Shealey and Gwendolyn Perry, his parents and his stepfather, Jack Simmons, all preceded him in death.

He leaves in remembrance, One daughter, Magina Shealey of Winston-Salem, two granddaughters, two great granddaughters and a host of nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends. Theodore served three years in the Navy all of which were spent in Vietnam. He will be missed by all who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held at a Later Date.
