Teneka Edwards

Teneka V. Edwards “Tink” entered eternal life on April 11, 2020, in High Point, NC. She was 33 years old. Teneka was welcomed into this world on December 12, 1986, in Chapel Hill, NC, to Anglea Edwards and Fredrick French. In her youth, Teneka attended Chapel Hill schools and was an avid and impressive runner. As an adult, Teneka was a hard worker and was always willing to help others. She was a strong-willed and resilient young woman who always made the best of every situation. Teneka’s daughter, Autumn, was the center of her universe. Teneka loved her family fiercely and was protective of them, especially her brother, Quentin. She loved sharing time with her nieces and nephews. Teneka loved to cook and eat. She was famous for her ranch pasta salad and lasagna. Teneka was young at heart, smart, and loved to have fun and laugh with her family and friends; she was a true sweetheart. Teneka was much-loved for her energy, playfulness, and smile.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Mary Alice Edwards; her paternal grandparents; an uncle, Jason Edwards; and two cousins, Ulice Woodard and Chance Edwards. Teneka leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Autumn Edwards; her mother, Angela Edwards (Joshua Faucette); father, Fredrick French (Michelle); brothers, Fredrick and Quentin Edwards; sisters, Minekia Edwards and Tiffany Mitchell; grandfather, Wilbert Edwards; nieces and nephews, Jordan, Mariah, London, Royalty, and Amir; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
