Tambra Sherrelle Parson “Yammie” was born on January 24, 1983, to Kimberly Parson and Sammy Johnson.

Tambra attended Randleman High School and graduated with the class of 2001. She attended Fayetteville State University.

Tambra loved spending time with friends and family. She loved Southern Soul music and King George was her favorite. She also loved to cook; her specialty was stuffed salmon. Tambra worked at Oak Forest Rehabilitation Center in Winston Salem, North Carolina, as a certified Nursing Assistant.

Tambra was preceded in death by her son, Damilyon Monroe; grandfathers, Cleveland Wilson and Allen Parson; her aunt Christie Parson and uncle Randall McKenzie.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her daughter Zamaria Monroe; one granddaughter, Honesty Monroe; her mother. Kimberly Parson; her father, Sammy (Carolyn) Johnson; one brother, Cosby (Myrcial) Johnson; grandmothers, Bettye Parson and Meloise Johnson; aunt Katrina Burnett of Atlanta GA; uncles, Larry, Eddie, Steve and Shawn Johnson of High Point, NC; two nieces; special friends, Quita Johnson, LaShona Carter, Benita Staton and Makita Tillman; cousins, other relatives and friends.
