Sheila Brown

Sheila Brown was born July 26, 1966, in Bennettsville, SC to the late James Speedy Brown and Gladys Brown.  She departed this earthly life on Friday, September 1, 2017, at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC.

Sheila resided in Thomasville, NC most of her life.  She graduated from High Point Central High School in 1985.  Sheila further education at Forsyth Technical Community College as a Medical Secretary.

“Brown Sugar” as she was called, was absolutely adored by her children and grandchildren.  Sheila was an amazing and loving person.  She was photogenic, always ready to smile in front of the camera.

In addition to her parents, Sheila was also preceded in death one granddaughter, Morgan Lemon and two brothers.

She leaves to cherish memories to her two children, Brittany (Fuller) Morehead and Clinton Thompson; four grandchildren, Destiny Lemon, Nyla Thompson, Joshua Morehead, and Jeremiah Morehead; two sisters, Carlene (Willie) Davis and Debra Brown; two brothers, Carl Brown and Jimmy (Kesia) Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends, Carolyn Bridges, Brian Wicker, Zona Ross and Darren Brown.
