Sam Eaddy

Sam B. Eaddy departed this earthly life at the age of 72, on Wednesday December 10, 2014 at High Point Regional Hospital. God sent his angels from Heaven to ease his pain and suffering. Sam “Sam B.” as he was affectionately known to family and friends, was born June 21, 1942 in Bennettsville, SC a son of the late James and Mozella Eaddy and the late Walter Frazier. As an adult he moved to High Point where he established himself as a top notch welder at Metal Fab & Metal Creations. Sam B. was very headstrong and only did things one way — his way. Despite his declining health he continued to live independently and do things for himself. Sam B. was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Louise Eaddy; daughter, Angela D. Grace; stepdaughter, Rhonda D. Grace, stepson, James Grace Jr.; two brothers, Bobby and Frank Eaddy; and one sister, Rosella Eaddy. Surviving relatives left to cherish his memories include daughters, Sandra Grace and fiance’ (Bryan Hill) of Greensboro, Melinda (Levern) Bethea, Sherell (Mac) Ward and Vivian Eaddy all of Bennettsville, SC; sons, Leroy Eaddy of NY and Samuel Rogers of Kernersville; sister, Lillie (James) Smith of High Point; half-sisters, Lee Lytch and Pandora (Samuel III) Washington of High Point; a host of extended children, sisters, brothers, grandchildren other relatives and friends.
