Rufus Flowers

Mr. Rufus Jerome Flowers, age 75 of Greensboro, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Wesley Long Hospital.  He was born on February 12, 1941 in Whiteville, NC to the late Mr. Jerome Rufus and Mrs. Pearlie Chisem Flowers.

Rufus worked as a brick mason most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four siblings, Walter Flowers, George Flowers, Martha Dowdy and Geneva Flowers Bright; also a special cousin, Lee Grant Phillips.

Rufus is survived by his brother, John Henry (Irma Jean) Flowers of High Point, NC and Annie B. (Doug) Moore of Gibsonville, NC. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
