Roosevelt Weathers, Jr.

June 15, 1963 — March 27, 2019

Mr. Roosevelt Tolbert Weathers Jr. age 55, of Newnan, GA departed this earthly life on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at his home.  Roosevelt was born in Newman, GA, June 15, 1963 to Ollie Mae Tolbert and the late Roosevelt Tolbert. He graduated from Earle C. Clements Job Corps Center in 1982.

Roosevelt enjoyed working outdoors and was always willing to help others.   He was an avid football and basketball fan.  Roosevelt was a faithful member of Solid Rock Baptist Church until relocating to Georgia and he later joined Oak Grove Baptist Church in Senoia, GA.

In addition to his dad, Roosevelt was also preceded in death by his sister, Antoniette Tolbert.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his loving wife, Rosia Weathers of the home; his mother, Ollie Mae Hines of High Point, NC; six sons, Brandon Weathers, Jamar Weathers, Tony (Shannon) Smith, Corey (Meloda) Small, Markies Small and Aubrey Small; one daughter, Tisha (Willie) Peppers; fifteen grandchildren; two brothers, Rodney Tolbert and Horace Hill of Newnan, GA; two sisters, Sharon Tolbert and Sherry Tolbert of Newnan, GA; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and many dear friends.
