Ricky Quick

Mr. Ricky Quick, 63 of High Point was led by an angel to sit around God’s throne on Sunday, February 8th, 2026. He transitioned in the comfort of his home while in the arms of his loving wife.

He was born on September 4, 1962, in Bronx NY to the late Mary Quick Manning.

Ricky enlisted in the army and after 20 years of service he retired. After his retirement from the Army. He then began his employment with UPS where he was a faithful employee until his retirement on May 20, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Quick Manning and stepfather, Frank Manning.

Those left to cherish his memories includes: his loving wife and caregiver, Crystal S. Gilmore-Quick of the home; one son, Ricky (Sherie) Baldwin of Greensboro, NC; two special daughters, Trina Cheek and Christina Gilmore; two sisters, Carolyn Quick and Anita (Daryl)Malloy both of High Point, NC; one brother, James (Gloria) McCullough of High Point, NC; ten grandchildren, two uncles, James Quick of High Point, NC and Tommy Thomas of Bennettsville, SC; one Aunt, Gladys Stanton of Bennettsville, SC; four brothers-in-law and two sisters-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
