On Monday, February, 10, 2014, Minister Wilson Taylor, 47 of High Point departed this earthly life at High Point Regional Hospital. He was welcomed into this world by his parents Leroy Sr. and Novella McNair Taylor on July 6, 1966 in Dillon, SC. Wilson graduated from Latta High School. He was employed with Valspar Corporation. Wilson was a loving and outgoing person. He was family oriented and enjoyed sharing time with his family. He was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church where he served as an Associate Minister. Minister Wilson was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Leroy Taylor Jr. and Willie C. Taylor. He leaves to cherish his memories; his children, Derrick Taylor, Ty-Darrus Taylor, DiKia Taylor, Wilson Taylor Jr. and Elexusha Taylor all of the home; three step-children, Shakila and Tenosha Reed and Kendrick Taylor; two grandchildren, Kevin and Donnell Taylor; four brothers, Thomas (Vivian) Taylor, Jimmy (Renee) Taylor and Nathaniel Taylor all of High Point and Charlie Taylor of Dillon, SC; five sisters, Mary (Charles) Allen, Betty Taylor, Corina Taylor and Patricia Taylor all of Dillon, SC and Emma (Lacey) Green of Lumberton, NC; a special friend, Melissa Hughs; two good friends, A.J. Thompson and Nelson Miles; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
