Mr. Leroy Williams, age 87, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 9, 2023, while at Hospice Home of the Piedmont High Point. He was born in Anson County, North Carolina, on July 3, 1935, the son of the late James Calvin Williams and Lilly Hall Williams. Mr. Williams was united in holy matrimony to Mrs. LeeAnna McRae, and to their devoted, loving, and blessed union three sons were born, Roger, Gary, and Timothy. He worked as a machine operator for Leggett & Platt Company for many years. He was a long-time and faithful member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church were he served as a Trustee. He later joined Solid Rock Baptist Church where he remained faithful and committed to the house of the Lord. Mr. Leroy Williams was a man of strength, wisdom, and knowledge who loved his wife and his sons with all his heart. Mr. Williams enjoyed traveling with his wife LeeAnna to many parts of the world. He was a faithful member of Solid Rock Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Mrs. LeeAnna McRae Williams; one son, Roger Williams; four brothers, Eddie Williams, General Lee Williams, Willie Junior Williams, and James Calvin Williams Jr.; four sisters, Mary Anna Williams, Rosetta Williams, Juanita Williams, and Frankie Williams Mr. Leroy Williams will be lovingly remembered by: his two amazing sons, Gary (Cathy) Williams of Orlando, Florida, and Timothy (Percella Harris) Williams of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; five grandchildren, Timeya Williams, Keon Williams, Aaron Williams, James Williams, and Ashley Williams; two sisters-in-law, Mattie McKiver of Bennettsville, South Carolina, and Margaret DeBerry of Hartford, Connecticut; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, church family, and friends.
