Monica Johnson Diggs

Monica Yvette Johnson Diggs, 56, departed this earthly life on Saturday, July 6, 2019, at her residence. She was born in Bronx, NY to Roy Little and the late Amanda Johnson. She resided in High Point, NC but her roots can be traced back to Hamlet, NC.

Monica loved everyone and enjoyed cooking big meals. She loved to sit and color in her coloring books. She had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need.

Her house was always full, her grandchildren were her world; she would do anything for them. Monica loved jewelry; anytime she saw you with jewelry on she would say, "Ooh that's nice! " "Where did you get that from and let me see it", then she would put it on!

Monica was also preceded in death by one sister: Denise Johnson, one brother; Leroy Johnson.

She will be missed and cherished by her husband, Richard Diggs of the home; her children; James Johnson of High Point, NC and Jamal Johnson and Matthew Coleman of Greensboro, NC; her father, Roy Little of Rockingham, NC; stepchildren; Cathy Payne, Corey Payne and Jaron Coleman; grandchildren; Shaniya Coleman, Toni Payne, Shakiya Payne, Cortavius Payne, Trinity Smith, Aliyah Payne, Corion Payne and Sharmani Payne; godchildren; Angel Mack, Tynesia McNair and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
