Miranda Broadnax

Miranda Lynn Broadnax affectionately known as Mandy was born on March 5, 1981, to Gilbert and Lynetta Broadnax. She was educated in the Rockingham school system. While in High School Miranda was a part of the track team and the JROTC. In 1998 Mandy graduated from Rockingham High School. During her life, outside of being a mother to her three children, Miranda wore many hats. She was a CNA at Britthaven Nursing Home (Pine Ridge Health and Rehabilitation) and a stay-at-home mom. Mandy was a former member of the Ambassador Temple Church in Thomasville where she sang in the choir. Miranda loved life, family, and especially her three babies. She loved football and was the life of every party she attended. Mandy was preceded by her husband, Willie Johnson, her son, Willie Johnson III, maternal grandparents Frank and Sally Mae Jacobs, paternal grandmother Alama Broadnax. Mandy leaves to cherish her memory her two sons JacQuez Adon Johnson, of Thomasville, Jaquan Tremane Johnson, and one daughter Tyesha Narie Johnson; of Winston Salem, her mother Lynetta Broadnax and James Robinson, her father Gilbert Broadnax of Madison, sister Vanessa Flythe and bother Gilbert Dennis Broadnax of Rockingham County. Her grandfather James Broadnax of Rockingham County, her godmother Sherri Morgan of Winston Salem/ Her Mother and Father In- Law Rose and Willie Manning, Brothers-in-law Gerard Johnson and Rondell Manning, sisters-in-law Makeeba Johnson, Shauntee Johnson, Tanisha Johnson, and Michelle Manning are all of Thomasville. And a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
