Minnie Mcfadden

Ms. Minnie Joe McFadden, 83 of High Point departed this earthly life on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at her residence. She was born June 30, 1930 in Sumter, SC to Lucille McFadden. She later relocated to High Point. Ms. Minnie was a wonderful daycare provider to her family and many others. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. Minnie was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Eloise Smith and one son, Jimmy McFadden. Minnie McFadden leaves cherished memories to four children; Dorothy (Johnny) Campbell, Billy (Evangelist Sarah) McFadden, Joann (Alvin)Thompson all of High Point and Brenda (Larry) Carmichael of Archdale; she also leaves loving memories to fourteen grandchildren, forty-one great grandchildren and nineteen great great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; a special aunt, Willow Dean McFadden. Funeral service will be 1:00pm, Monday, April 7, 2014 at Gethsemane Baptist Church. Family visitation will begin at 12:30pm at the church. Burial will be in Carolina Biblical Gardens, Jamestown.
