A Journey Begins…

Michael Shaquan Lorenzo Brown Jr. was born on November 17,1994 in High Point, NC. He departed from this world to a better place on Sunday, March 5, 2022. We know Michael is now at peace with two of the most inspirational women in his life; grandmother, Carolyn Hairston, bonus mother, Billie Allen and his uncle Darold Hairston. He is loved here on earth as well as in heaven.

Michael loved to play video games, listen to music, and watch anime in his free time. Most importantly, Michael had a deep love for his family, especially his daughters, siblings, nieces, and nephews. He cherished the time they would spend together just joking and enjoying family time together.

Michael loved so many and was loved by so many more. He had an infectious smile and had an energy that with even just one encounter with him, you would remember. If anyone knew Michael, he never called you by your first name, he had a personal nickname for you, whether you liked it or not. He just wanted the best for everyone and was the mediator in the family. He always tried to turn everything into a positive situation. Michael will continue to stay with us all through memories, and the laughs he shared with us.

Surviving to cherish his precious memories, include: His Daughters, Malia Brown and Serenity Brown; Mother Tiffany Hairston (Harvey); Father Michael Brown; Grandparents; George Hairston & Alice B.York; Siblings, LaShonda, Alexis B, Markell, Baden, Alexis A, Ashlee, Anthony, Alesha, Gabriel; Stepbrother Tory; Bonus Siblings; Themecia Allen-Williams (Steven), Albert Williams. Along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives, and special friends who all loved him dearly.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Greater New Hope, 906 Meredith St. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. There will be no public viewing.

For I am ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
