Mechelle Devona McFadden

Mechelle Devona McFadden, 54, of High Point, NC, was born on February 1, 1972, to Joann Thompson and Daniel Thoms. A lifelong resident of High Point, Mechelle peacefully departed this life surrounded by the love of her family and close friends.

Mechelle was a proud graduate of High Point Central High School, Class of 1990. She dedicated her life to caring for others, faithfully serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Medication Technician for 24 years. Her compassion, dedication, and gentle spirit touched the lives of countless patients, residents, and families throughout her career.

Mechelle had a heart centered on family and friendship. She was known for her loving, caring, and selfless nature, always opening her heart and home to those in need. Her kindness, warm smile, infectious laughter, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joann Thompson and Daniel Thoms; her grandmothers, Minnie Joe McFadden and Jenny Toms; and her uncles, Billy McFadden, Jimmy McFadden, and Johnny Lee Campbell, Sr.

Mechelle leaves to cherish her precious memories her three daughters, Danielle McFadden, Chaquel Wilson, and Zacorria McFadden; her sister, Felicia McFadden Simmons; her brother, Rayshawn (Maria) Thoms; her nine beloved grandchildren; her two treasured great-grandchildren; her aunts, Brenda (Larry) Carmichael, Dorothy Campbell, and Sarah McFadden; her four cherished godchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

Though Mechelle's physical presence will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, compassion, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family will continue to live on through the lives of all who were blessed to know and love her.
