Mary Frances Rorie

Mrs. Mary F. Rorie departed this earthly life on June 9, 2023. She was born on July 20, 1942, the daughter of the late William McCoy Sr. and Flossie Kearns McCoy.

Mary was educated in the Randolph and Guilford County schools. She was united in marriage to Jeremiah Rorie, Sr., of High Point, NC. After living in Washington, DC, for several years, she returned to High Point, NC, and was employed at Styrex Industries.

Mary enjoyed listening to all types of music and spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jerry McCoy and William Mccoy Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Sharon McCoy, one granddaughter, Shareka McCoy, four great grandchildren; Denajee McCoy, Deontre' McCoy, Jericka McCoy and Lakiyah McCoy, three great great grandchildren, one brother; Richard (Ruth) McCoy of Trinity, NC and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
