Mary Ratliff

I cried unto the Lord with my voice and he heard me out of his holy hill, on Friday morning god heard her and took our beloved Mary Alice Chandler Morris Ratliff home. She was a beloved wife and mother and a hard worker. Mrs. Mary Alice transitioned from her earthly life on Friday December 11, 2015 at Heartland Living & Rehabilitation in Greensboro NC. She was born in Anson County to the late Samuel Chandler and Mother Genetta Chandler on December 29, 1929 She Alice attended school at Henry Grove in Lilesville N.C. where she finished Her dream was to be a beautician one day but instead she chose to be a mother, but she still loved styling hair. Alice worked for B.V. Hedrick in Lilesville N.C. as a cook for the company for the company and then in a hosiery factory until her health declined. Preceded in death by her son Belvin Lee Chandler and two sisters and three brothers She is survived by her husband Willie James Ratliff, five daughters Alecia (Alton) Easterling Victoria Morris, Diane Morris, Renonia(Gregory)Green and Thurshell Ratliff Three Sons Mitchell (Flora) Morris, William Terry Morris and Luther Morris. one step daughter Carolyn Walker Thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great, great, grandchildren and 2 great, great, great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. One sister Mildred Davis. one sister in-law Essiebelle McNeal, and one brother in-law Cleveland Ratliff (Rebecca).
