Mary Mccormick

July 28, 1947 — August 7, 2017

On Monday, August 7, 2017 Mary Jane Johnson McCormick departed this earthly life at home at the age of 70.

Mary also known as “Grown” was born July 28, 1947 to the late Eula Mae Johnson Livingston in Florence, SC.

She worked for Claude Gabel for 32 years until her health declined.  Mary was a long time member of Living Water Baptist.  She later joined Righteous in Christ where she was a faithful member until her health declined.

Mary was married to the late Richard McCormick Sr.   She was also preceded by one son, Michael McCormick; one sister, Vanessa Johnson, and a brother, Dewey Johnson.

Those left to cherish her memories include one son, Richard McCormick Jr. of Laurinburg, NC; two grand-daughters, Jasmine McCormick of High Point, NC and Jamaicia Morrison of Charlotte, NC; one sister, Rachel Sturdivant of High Point, NC; two brothers, James (Lauren) Johnson and Thomas Warren of High Point, NC; one special niece, Shavonne Johnson of High Point, NC; very special friend, Josie Leak of Wallace, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
