Lauren Elise Pierce, 39, of Thomasville, NC, passed away on Saturday, October 14th, 2023. Lauren was born on July 12th, 1984 in Winston-Salem, NC. Lauren was a lover of sunflowers, animals, coffee, music, and the smell of coconut. She enjoyed writing poetry, cooking, and watching movies. She is preceded in death by her father, Fontaine M. Pierce; her grandfather, Ronald C. Rau; She is survived by her daughter, Adrianna K. Durant; her daughter's father, Thomas Durant Jr.;, her mother, Karen R. Khan; two sisters, Amber M. Khan and Maleeha M. Khan; two brothers, Jared R. Byrd and Chandler G. Byrd; and seven nieces and nephews.
