Kimberly Marchon Baker was born and raised in High Point, North Carolina, where she became known for her vibrant spirit and loving heart. She graduated from T. Wingate Andrews High School in 1990 and went on to live a life full of passion, hard work and joy. She was truly the life of the party: always bringing people together, opening he home, and making sure everybody felt welcome, loved and seen. Kimberly dreamed of becoming a singer, and her love for music never faded. but she found her true calling as a hairstylist. She dedicated over 20 years of her life at Great Clips, where she not only styled hair but also managed multiple locations. She had a beautiful dream of opening her own salon for gifted children, which she planned to call "A Gifted Touch." A reflection of her heart and her desire to give back. Later in life, Kimberly discovered another passion in cooking. She spent countless hours in the kitchen creating recipes, feeding people with love, and dreaming of opening her own restaurant one day. No matter what she was doing, she gave it her all. Kimberly was a hardworking woman who loved to laugh, sing, dance and enjoy life to the fullest. She fought courageously through every trial and tribulation placed in her path, never giving up and never losing her faith. Though her earthly journey ended on December 21, 2025, she crossed the finish line with strength and grace. Now, she lives on as an angel in paradise, watching over those she loved so deeply.
Surviving are daughter, N'zyia Miller, god daughter, Calissa Jarrett, son, Charles (Chip) Dillard and Chasity (Lil Bit) Dillard all of Alpharetta, GA, Her mother, Mrs. Jessie Steele of Greensboro, NC, her father, Wendell Baker of Alpharetta, GA, Brothers, Carlton and Chris Baker of Greensboro, NC, Sterling Baker and fiancé Tonya, of High Point, NC, four nieces, five nephews, four aunts, three uncles and a host of cousins and friends.
