Johnniel Rayshown Emerson age 22, departed this earthly life on Tuesday April 13, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center-Winston Salem, NC.   His death was sudden and unexpected.

Johnniel was born in High Point, NC on July 22, 1998, to Johnette Emerson and Wilford Sellers.  He was a proud graduate of High Point Central High School, class of 2017.  Johnneil was outgoing, loving, he had a loyal spirit and most of all loved his family. He never met a stranger and had a heart of gold. Many would say he would give you his last. His hobby was playing basketball.  One of the things he loved the most was being a father and spending time with his son.

He was preceded in death is his maternal grandmother, Ilka Joanette Emerson; his paternal grandparents Lula and Boresy Sellers; great-grandmother, Virginia "Mickey” Hines; one aunt, Bessie Emerson-Carter and a great-aunt, Samantha McGregor.

He leaves to cherish his loving and caring memories to: his mother, Johnette Emerson of Winston Salem, NC; father Wilford Sellers of High Point, NC; his son Ka'Mari Rowell; paternal grandfather, John Crump of High Point, NC; two uncles John Crump and Jonathan Crump; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  He will also be fondly remembered and missed by his Daniel Brooks family.
