John Mceachin

John Henry McEachin, age 66 was called to his heavenly home on Thursday, October 12, 2017 at High Point Regional UNC Health System.  He was born on May 14, 1951 to the T.C. Campbell and Sara Lee Smith in Dillon, SC.  John was reared by the late Lacy McEachin and his grandmother, Nancy McEachin.

Affectional known as “McEachin” he retired from Carolina Container.  John loved to travel to the beach with his wife Beatrice.  He also enjoyed listening to music, watching football and researching information on the internet.

John was also preceded in death by one son, Johnathan McEachin and three siblings.

He leaves behind to cherish his memories: his wife of 31 years, Beatrice McEachin of the home; four children, Lasharn Wright, John (Markita) McEachin Jr., Antonio Ray and Shavonna (Kenny) Whitfield; two sisters, Linda (Jimmy) Rush and Billie Ann McEachin; grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
