Jimmie Carnegie

Jimmie Carnegie, age 80, a long-time resident of High Point, NC died on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Westchester Manor Nursing Facility.

She was welcomed into this world by Richard Brown and Sunny Rice Brown on July 16, 1937 in Lee County, NC.

Jimmie was a kind and fun-loving person who never met a stranger.  She loved socializing with her family and friends.  Jimmy was a professional dancer early in life.  She had a wonderful smile and laugh that would brighten up a room.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Alzina Cruthfield; three brothers, Harvey “Mack” Brown, Obie Brown and Wilson Brown; one sister, Nettie Lou Brown Thomas.

Jimmie is survived by her sister, Claudia Brown Smith of the home; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.
