Jerry Oxendine

Jerry Lee Oxendine, 67, departed this life on Friday, September 7, 2012, at Moses Cone Hospital.

Jerry was born on August 19, 1945, in Robeson County, NC. He graduated from Fairgrove High School and later relocated to High Point, NC. He was employed with American Ornamental Products for 27 years as a machine operator. He was a loving and caring father who put his family first. Jerry was an avid sports fan loving all types if sports. Jerry married the love of his life, Thelma Hardie Oxendine.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Essie Mae Oxendine.

Leaving behind to cherish his memories his devoted wife of 34 years, Thelma Oxendine of the home, three sons, Anthony Oxendine of Fairmont, NC, Otis (Regina) Lyles if Raleigh, NC and Bryant (Angelica) Ne'Laughn of Mebane, NC; two daughters, Serelda (Milton) Harper of High Point, NC and Giovanna (Bobby) Johnson of High Point, NC, 11 grandchildren, one great grandchild; a host of other relatives and friends.
