Jason Deon Ratliff Jr. "J'Roy"

Jason Deon Ratliff, Jr., age 19, of High Point, North Carolina, departed this earthly on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Atrium Baptist Hospital, Winston, Salem. He was born in High Point, North Carolina, on February 11, 2004, to his parents Dominique Breeden and Jason Ratliff. Jason was raised in High Point and graduated from Edgecombe Youth Academy. "J’Roy" was the nickname he liked to be called once he hit eighteen. After dropping the name "Lil’Jason” that so many of his family and friends knew him by. Jason was a joy and pleasure to everyone that had the privilege to get to know him. He had a heart of gold and was the most loving and genuine person you would ever meet. To know him was to love him. His favorite hobbies were rapping and recording videos. Jason was such a creative artist. Jason had the most contagious laugh; once you heard it you would never forget it. But most of all he was a true protector. He protected his mother, his family, and all of his lady friends. Jason had a strong bond with so many people; however, the bond he had with his sibling was out of this world and nothing could compare. His favorite color was red and of course, everyone knew his favorite food was always his grandma Sandra Breeden's fried chicken wings! Jason is now reunited with his great-grandma, Annie Lee Breeden; grandma, Esther Ratliff; aunties, Carol Branch and Vera Lee Breeden; uncle, Albert Breeden; and his baby cousins, Nyla and Caysen.
