On Wednesday, December 4, 2014, God eased the suffering of Janie Braddy and took her soul to be with Him for everlasting life. Jannie, age 59, of High Point was born December 23, 1954, in Robeson County, NC, a daughter of Mr. Acey and Mrs. Anna Bell Baker Braddy.
She relocated to High Point at an early age, then met Johnny Lee Sellers and had two sons. She was preceded in death by her parents, Acey and Anna Bell Braddy, one brother, Vester Braddy and a sister, Clennie Braddy.
Surviving to cherish precious memories include two sons, Jonathan (Kimberly) Braddy of Greensboro, NC and Acey (Andrea) Braddy of Fayetteville, NC; seven grandchildren, Jonathan, Acey Jr., Ajante, Aceara, Johnny, Jazmyne and Jaylen; two great grand-daughters, Khaz'lyah Moore and Jaliyah Hinson; six brothers, Belton Braddy, John Lee Braddy, Jessie (Pearl) Braddy, Curtis (Brenda) Braddy, JenArchie (Shirley) Braddy, and Bobby Braddy; two sisters, Annie Jenkins and Julie (Spencer) Jackson; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
