James "Morey" Eleby Jr.

Mr. James Morey Eleby Jr. 59 departed this life on Thursday May 21, 2026, Morey was born in High Point, NC to James Eleby Sr. and MaryAnne Neal.

Morey attended Smith High School where he graduated in 1985. He later went on to work several jobs in various industries.

Morey had a loving spirit and met no strangers. Du-rag enjoyed his family and friends. He loved dancing, he was our very own personal Michael Jackson. Morey loved talking about the Lord, where he later became a Ordained Minister under the leadership of Pastor Alfonso Martin of Solid Rock Baptist church. Even at his lowest Morey would never miss an opportunity to share the message of God.

He leaves to cherish his loving memories to his parents, Mr.James Eleby of Greensboro and Ms. Maryanne Neal; two sisters, Deborah Calloway and Treniece Eleby; two nieces, Paityn and Madisyn Moss; two nephews, Yardley Rogers and Raphael Calloway all of High Point, NC, and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins, WHO MOREY LOVED DEARLY (Farewell Morey).
