James McKever

 Mr. James Edward McKever, age 73, of High Point, North Carolina died on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, in Wallace, South Carolina. James was born in Bennettsville, South Carolina on July 25, 1950, to the late Daniel Short and Ruthie Mae Warren. James was married to Carolyn McKever. He worked for Concept Plastic for many years. He was a faithful member Living Water Baptist Church for 25 years, where he served on the Usher Board. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn McKever; one sister, Ruth Baskin; and three brothers, Leonard Warren, Richard Warren, and Robert Lee Warren. James leaves loving memories to two sons, James (Belinda) Warren of Wallace, SC and Tracy (Jaqualyn) Warren of Patrick, SC; one daughter Regina Fuller of High Point, NC; sisters and brothers, Mary (Press) Williams, Rachel Sturdivant, Margaret McManus, Gail (Quintal) Lindsay, Thomas (Betty) Warren, Charles Warren, and Joann Harrington, all of High Point, NC, Elaine, Roger Pemberton, Carolyn Gould, Sylvia Short, Michael Covington Frances, Matt Kee, and Clara (Joseph) McGibbomy, all of Rockingham, NC, Alvin (Sabernna) Covington of TX, Anthony Wall of GA, Sally (Sam) Morman of Hamlet, NC, and Beatrice Wilson of Fayetteville, NC; 15 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; stepmom, Mary Short; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
