James Mccain Jr.

James “Jimmy” Edward McCain Jr.  passed away Saturday August 26th, 2017 at High Point Regional UNC Health Care.  Jimmy was born August 27, 1945 in Belwood (Cleveland County), NC.

He retired as a truck driver from Prime Lumber Company in 2007.

Jimmy was preceded in death by both parents: James Edward McCain Sr., and Cora Lee McCain, son: Anthony James McCain and brothers: Larry Dean McCain and Raeford Howard McCain.

Jimmy leaves fond and loving memories in the hearts of his daughters:  Jerri (Jarian) McCain-Collins of Charlotte NC, Jorie Thomas of Greensboro NC,  Aretha (Ronnie) Little, Donna McCain, Amanda (Ron) Civil all from Shelby, NC. Velinda (Maurisha) Vuncannon from High Point, NC

Sister: Linda (Samuel) Hopper, Crouse, NC  Grandchildren: Travis McCain, Stoney Maddox, Jr., Dustin McCain, Areisha Carlton,  Jayquan Clark, Seara McCain, Courtney Thomas and Brycen Thomas. He was married to Jolane McCain and remained lifelong friends. He also leaves behind to cherish his memories a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and a host of friends.
