James Lindsay

High Point- Mr. James Calvin Lindsay of High Point, NC departed this earthly life on March 4, 2014. He was born July 30, 2014 in Anson County, NC. Calvin graduated from High Point Central High School where he played football and other activities. He later served in the the US Army for several years. He was an employee for the City of High Point. James was preceded in death by his his beloved parents, Mary Lou Watson Lindsay and Edmond Lindsay Jr.; one brother, Freddie Lindsay. He leaves to cherish his memories to his son, Shaun Lindsay; two grandchildren; three brothers, Edward "June" and his wife Josie Lindsay, Charles (Karen) Lindsay and Michael Lindsay all of High Point, NC; eight sisters, Cora (Lonnie) Tillman, Betty Townsend, Emma Townsend, Elaine Harris Rich, Annie Ruth Lindsay, Lenora Evans, Doris Lindsay and Gussie Lindsay all of High Point; a host of nieces and nephews. James was a beloved son and brother. Funeral will be 3:00pm, Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Solid Rock Baptist Church. Family visitation will begin at 2:30pm at the church. Burial will be in Salisbury National Cemetery will full honors on Monday, March 10,2014. The family will also receive friends at the sister's home,
