Ida Carter

Ms. Ida Carter 59, also known as "Pie" of High Point, NC, departed this earthly life on Saturday, December. 21,2013 at Hospice Home of the Piedmont.  Ida was born in Washington, DC, on August 24, 1954, to the late Rose Henrietta Carter and the late William H. Carter, Sr.

She was preceded in death by her sons; Victor G. Brooks and Mitchell Taylor, she was also preceded in death by her brother, who was the love of her life, Lee Howard Carter.

Leaving to cherish her memories are two sons: Charles R. Brooks and Michael L. Taylor of High Point, NC; two granddaughters, Tranel B. Brooks and Victoria G. Brooks; two sisters, Mary A. Carter of Washington, DC and Rose C. Beale of High Point, NC; a brother, William H. Carter Jr of High Point, NC, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Although not named, you were all a very special part of her life.
