Mrs. Helen Peguese Marshall, 77 left this earthly life on Friday, February 26, 2016 after an extended illness.  She was a loving daughter, mother and grandmother.

On May 7, 1938 she was born to the late Eliza Jane Streater Peguese and Lemuel Pegues, Sr. in Chesterfield County, SC.

Helen was united in holy matrimony on September 4, 1954 to the late Bishop Robert T. Marshall in Chesterfield, SC.  They later relocated to High Point, NC where they served as Pastor and First Lady of Friendship Holiness Church for 13 years and she served as the mother of the church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bishop Robert T. Marshall, her parents, one brother, Lemuel Peguese Jr.; four sisters, Betty Henderson, Doris Bowden, Evelyn Watson and Virginia Evins one great grandson, Master Josiah.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her six children; Elder Thomas (Tina) Marshall, Robert J. (Annette) Marshall, Melvin Marshall, Patricia (Kenney) Dumas, Barbara Steele all of High Point, NC and Warren (Denise) Marshall of Raleigh, NC; one sister, Lorine Easterling of Charlotte, NC; 18 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; a host of numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Special friends, Mary Douglas and Shirley Wilson.
