Harry Alston

Harry Lee Alston, 52, a resident of High Point, NC, passed away on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at High Point Regional Hospital.

He was born March 25, 1960, in Guilford County, NC, a son of James and Rossa Ballard Alston. A resident of High Point, NC all of his life, he was a member of Church of God of Prophecy.

In 1990, he married his wife whom he loved dearly., Diane Royal Alston. Harry enjoyed singing and was an avid sports fan.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a grandson, Nahzier Lee Alston.

Leaving behind to cherish his memories includes his devoted wife of 21 years, Diane R. Alston of the home, Four sons, Tramaine Alston, Charles Alston, Michael Alston and Christian Alston, all of the home, Four daughters, Sherita Butler of Greensboro, NC, Naquita Alston, Kelly Alston, both of the home and Veronique (Harold) Warren-White of High Point, NC, Two brothers, Gareth Ballard of Charlotte, NC and James Ballard (Doris) Alston of Georgia, One sister, Deborah (Lafayette) Hughes of High Point, NC, Five grandchildren, God-sister, Diane Johnson, Ida Covington, who was like his mother, Brother, James Kinton, a dear family friend, Two uncles, Two aunts, Five nephews and two nieces, many other relatives and friends although not named you were very special to him.
