Emma Parilla

Emma Jane Parilla, 82 departed this life on Thursday, February 8, 2018, at Hospice Home at High Point. she was born on August 20, 1935, to the late Coleman Meredith and Ethel Mae Meredith in Halifax, VA. Emma was a resident of New York most of her life and later relocated to High Point, NC in 2000. she was employed as nursing assistant for many years and was very passionate when it came to helping others, she also worked as an Avon representative for over 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her son, John "Kool Rat" Robinson III; her parents, one sister, Fannie Turner, a brother, Leonard Meredith.

Surviving to cherish her precious memories are three daughters, Andrena Robinson of Charlotte, NC, Nelinda Jones and Chana Robinson both of High Point, NC, Five grandchildren, Joshua, Eric, Ruben, Takeyia and Marcus Robinson, a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren
