Ms. Edna Mae Quick McLeod, age 80 transitioned from her earthly body to eternal rest at Hospice Home in High Point, NC. She was a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece and friend to many. Edna was born on November 20, 1937 in Marlboro County, SC to the late Edward Quick and Romell Johnson.
Mother McLeod was a praying woman and was a member of Chosen Generation Outreach Deliverance Center. She enjoyed cooking meals for everyone. Mother McLeod touched a lot of people with her kindness and she will always have a special place in our hearts.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother and sister, Edward Junior Quick and Gertha Mae Bethea.
Mother McLeod loved her family and those left to cherish her memories include: four sons, Charles (Corrine) McLeod of High Point, NC and Richard (Janice) McLeod of Goose Creek, SC, Walter (Marlene) McLeod and Kenneth McLeod all of High Point, NC; two daughters, Barbara (Joseph) Henderson and Shirley (Robert) Blocker all of High Point, NC; three sisters, Katherine Alford of Columbia, MD, Meloise Johnson and Helen Jiggetts both of High Point, NC; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; also a special friend, Jimmy Morrison.
