Duron Lowery

Mr. Duron Garnet Lowery, age 52, departed this earthly life unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at WFBMC-High Point Medical Center. Duron was born on November 2, 1968, in High Point, NC, to James Myers and JoAnn Lowery. A lifelong resident of High Point, NC, Duron graduated from High Point Central High School, class of 1986. He was employed with Brian Quenby, Inc. Duron was a kind person with a soft, mellow voice. He always had a smile on his face in all situations. Duron was the kind of person you could easily talk to and have lots of fun with. He never met a stranger. He loved to cook, especially grilling. He also enjoyed painting and drawing. Duron will truly be missed. He was preceded in death by one sister, Hazel Lowery Saunders; his grandparents, Irene Tatum and Abraham Parson and Thomas and Ruth Jackson; and stepmother, Carolyn Myers. Duron leaves to cherish loving memories: his parents, JoAnn Lowery and James Myers; one daughter, Latahjia Davis; six brothers, John W. Lowery, John T. Lowery, James Lowery, JaCal Myers, Kenny McCloud, and Michael Myers; five sisters, Mildred Martin, Helen Byers, Angela Lowery, Sandra (Minister Daniel) Creft, and Deloris McCollum; a special friend, Doris Jenkins; brother-in-law, Williams Saunders; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends.
