Dudley McGee Jr.

Dudley McGee Jr., son of the late Mr. Travis Junior McGee and Lila Swinton McGee was born October 10, 1945, in Nesmith, SC.

He departed this life August 13, 2026, at Hospice House in High Point, NC.

Dudley attended Chavis High School in Hemingway, SC. He later relocated to New York, New Jersey, and North Carolina in the early 70's before moving back to South Carolina for a time. In the late 70's he moved to High Point, NC where he lived for remainder of his life. He was a Forklift driver for Roy Black's Junkyard in High Point for many years.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Dudley was preceded in death by one son, Vernon McGee. 

He leaves to cherish fond memories, his daughter Mona Lisa Waterman Brown of Florence, SC; one son, and Troy McGee of Englewoood, NJ; two brothers, Robert (Sonny) McGee (Ann) of Greensboro, NC and Cleveland McGee of Rochester, NY; two sisters, Elvina Dorsey Burroughs of Selma, NC and Laura McGee Craig of Staten Island, NY; three grandchildren, Alisa Shalom Brown, Hannah Joy Brown and Trevor McGee.

A loving and trusted friend, Monice Moore. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
