Douglas Hargrave

Douglas “Doug” Van Hargrave, 63, passed away Sunday, May 24, 2015 at High Point Regional Health Center following a brief illness. He was born on April 27, 1952 in Lexington, NC. Doug was the son of the late Ruby Jean and Curtis Hargrave. Doug enjoyed basketball, going to flea markets, and his work as a customer courtesy shuttle driver for Vann York Chevrolet. His outgoing personality left everyone he touched with a smile. Survivors include daughters, Tina Hargrave of Charlotte, NC and LaTasha Brown of High Point, NC; brothers, Stanley Hargrave, Sr. of High Point, NC and Jeffrey Hargrave of Warrington, NC; nephews, Stanley Hargrave, Jr. and Tony Hargrave; stepdaughter, Denise Reed; many loving grandchildren; and his companion of 33 years, Mary Robinson of the home.
