In Loving Memory of Deaven Hawkins
Devean Hawkins, a bright and joyful light in our family, was born on April 13, 2010, in Fairfax, Virginia, to Denita Braziel and Terrence Hawkins. He passed away, leaving a lasting imprint on all who knew and loved him. His mother, Denita, preceded him in death.
Devean loved food and even better conversations, often gathering at the table with his twin brother Daniel to talk, joke, and enjoy the moments that truly mattered. His presence made every room lighter, every day sweeter, and every memory brighter.
A 10th-grade honors student at Randleman High School, Devean was admired by friends and teachers alike. He had a passion for dancing, singing, drawing, and fashion, and his love for his twin brother Daniel was evident in everything they did. The special bond they shared was a constant source of joy and warmth for those around them.
Deaven leaves to cherish his memory: his dad Terrence Hawkins; his twin brother and best friend; Daniel Hawkins; his paternal grandparents, Michelle and Ricky Hunt; his maternal grandparents, Denise and Dennis Braziel; uncles, Terrill Hawkins (Emily);Derek and Desmond Brazil(Julia); great-grandparents, Fanchon Haskins and Michael Hawkins; and a host of cousins, family, and friends who were touched by his life.
Though his time with us was far too short, the impact of his life is immeasurable. His smile, his laughter, and his loving heart will continue to guide, comfort, and inspire all who knew him.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever Devean.
