She worked many years devoting her time and dedication to the Department of Social Services, A&T State University, her Non-Profit Organization and taught for several years as a Pre-K teacher in the Guilford County Public School System.

Denise had a strong dedication to the success of kids. She touched every child she encountered, with such love and compassion. She always would say....""children love discipline, they act like that don't but....they do!" in her most sweetest tone. She devoted and committed her time and knowledge to ensure that any kids she came in contact with had the love and support they needed to ensure that a thriving education instilled in them.
Denise loved her church family to the core! She was a dedicated member of New Bethel Baptist Church where she served on many different committees. She always remained faithful and committed to the house of the Lord and did it with such style & grace and a beautiful smile. Denise was a faithful member of the "Sister's Prayer Warriors Circle." She was always encouraging the members with words of Wisdom. On Denis's Good days and Bad days, she was always giving God the praise. Her favorite phrase was..."God's got it, God is so good to me, that's why I can't do anything but Love Him and Serve Him." She will surely be missed by the Sisters of the Circle, continue to serve him our Sister Denise.
