David Mccall

September 18, 1940 — February 6, 2019

Mr. David Kenneth McCall was born in Marlboro County, South Carolina on September 18, 1940, son of Shadie B. McCall and Julius McCall. On February 6, 2019, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, he was called home to rest.

He grew up in Bennettsville, South Carolina., "DK," as he was affectionately called, was full of life. he was compassionate, humble and a loving person who enjoyed cooking, baking, fishing and western movies.

David resided in High Point, North Carolina. He was formerly employed at Parish Tire and retired from Drexel Heritage Furniture. He was an active member of Solid Rock Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Kenneth Ray McCall; Sisters, Mildred Williams, Shadie Adams and Rozenia Buchanan; Brothers, Wilbert McCall, Jr., J.L., McCall, Billie McCall and Waddell McCall.

David leaves a legacy of love to cherish heartfelt memories with his wife, Lillian H. McCall: three daughters, Gloria McCall, Linda McCall and Lisa McCall. One son, David McCall: thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren: two great-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
