David Godbolt

Mr. David Godbolt, age 77 departed this earthly life on Sunday, September 27, 2020 at Wake Forest Baptist in High Point, NC.   David was a born-again believer and member of Word of Life Tabernacle.

David was born July 5, 1943 in Dillon, SC to the late Duncan and Dorothy Godbolt.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers; Billy Godbolt and Randy Godbolt; two sisters, Frances Campbell and Inez Ware.

In 1966, he married Louvenia Wheeler and from this union was born three sons; David (Regina) Godbolt, Jeffrey (Ronda) Godbolt, Anthony Godbolt and two daughters; Selina Godbolt, Yumicka Godbolt-Shannon and Alexis Johnson who he raised as his own daughter, 17 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; he also leaves to cherished memories to his four sisters; Lula May Page, Irene Godbolt, Helen Poole and Leatha Hudson; two brothers; Merle (Lynn) Godbolt and Carlton McKellar; one brother-in-law, James (Anne) Wheeler; three sisters-in-law, Barbara (Daniel) Mosley, Dolly Mace and Martha Wheeler; one aunt, Mary Blue and and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
