Darren Evans

Mr. Darren Michael Evans, 56, departed this earthly life on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at High Point Medical Center-Wake Forest.  He was born in Bay Shore, NY to the late Josephine Evans Williams.

Darren was a long-time resident of High Point, NC.  He was full of life, skillful, a great cook and was very independent.

In addition to his mother, Josephine Evans Williams, Darren was preceded in death by his father Pearlie Williams; three brothers, Paul Anthony Williams, Sidney Bernard Williams, Leon Williams; maternal grandparents, Margaret Cochrane Evans and Willis Evans.

He is survived by three children: Diana Evans of High Point, NC, Cynthia Harris of New York and Darren Harris of New York; three brothers, Dexter Evans of Charlotte, NC, Steven Williams of Thomasville, NY and Jerry Williams of California; four sisters, Freda Williams of California, Yolanda Williams of Durham, NC, Linda Williams of New York and Sylvia Quick of New York; twelve grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
