Dannie Jones

Dannie Bee Jones was the youngest child of the late Carson & Maggie Jones. He was born Friday, April 29th, 1949, in Hoke County, NC where he was raised and attended public schools. He participated as a boy scout at a young age, then later enrolled in Job Corps where he developed a trade in carpentry and barbering.

He worked at Stanley Furniture as a machine operator in West End, NC, and he also engaged in assisting with senior care. His hobbies consisted of boxing and baseball, while later learning to enjoy the patience and relaxation of fishing. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at an early age.

Dannie is preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Dan leaves to cherish his memories of his two daughters: Stephanie and Catherine Jones of High Point, NC., his grandchildren, Antonio Jones, Tamia Jones, Takya Jones, Imani Washington and Essance Washington, Siblings: Preston Vasti Jones of Greensboro, NC and Nelson Merlyn Jones of Radford, NC: Sister-in-law, Eula Mae Jones of Radford, NC, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends that loved him very much.
