Cynthia Little Anderson, 62, of High Point, NC, victoriously and peacefully ended her fight and went into heavenly sleep on Monday, April 17th at the Hospice of the Piedmont.
Cynthia Anderson was born in High Point, NC on March 27, 1955. She graduated from High Point Central High School.
Cynthia Anderson worked as a dedicated knitting-line technician and research developer for Slane Hosiery Mill for over 30 years. In the same way that she could unite beautiful colors to make hosiery, she utilized her wisdom, love, and sense of humor to unite her beautiful family. She was passionate about spending time with family, crossword puzzles, shopping at the Farmer’s Market, and watching Christian plays and movies especially ones including Tyler Perry as Madea. She was also actively involved in Sunday School and service at her beloved church, Williams Memorial CME Church.
Cynthia is survived by children Adrian (Angela) Little of High Point, NC, James (Karen) Anderson of Kernersville, NC and Brittany Anderson of Burlington, NC. She has three loving grandchildren Breanna Neeley (21), Amani Rogers (19), and A’riah Little (3). She has seven siblings Annette (Walter) Pinson, Evelyn (Andrew) McConnell, Shirley Cureton, Vivian (Michael) Cureton, Randy Cureton, Gina (Venard) Battle, Aaron (Monica) Cureton and a host of nieces and nephews. She has one great-grandchild, Kyli Wilson (5). She also sincerely loved her close friends whom she considers family, Pearl Kirby, Doris Adams, Roberta (Thelmont) McInnis.
Cynthia is preceded in death by her mom, Jacqueline Cureton and her brother, John (J.T.) Little.
The family kindly requests potted plants in lieu of traditional arrangements. Memorial donations will be received at the funeral and will be given to Hospice of the Piedmont in honor of Mrs. Cynthia Anderson. The family of Cynthia Anderson wishes to thank Pastor Robert J. Williams, Williams Memorial CME Church, Dr. George Sanders at High Point Cancer Center, Hospice of the Piedmont, colleagues from Slane Hosiery, and everyone who has supported her during her life’s journey.
